The World Touring Car Championship heads to Japan this weekend with Tom Chilton in fine form following his win last time out in Argentina. Speaking ahead of this weekend, Chilton commented:

"Argentina was amazing, to get that win under my belt was so important in the context of the WTCC Trophy. This weekend in Japan presents different challenges but I'm taking good momentum into the race and another solid points haul will keep the pressure on Bennani heading into the last few rounds".

The 4.8km Twin Ring Motegi sits 145km north of Tokyo and is a combination of long straights and heavy braking points that present plenty of exciting overtaking opportunities although Chilton will be carrying some ballast so its not going to be easy for the British driver. However, he can take hope having been the strongest of the Chevrolet drivers at the same venue last year.

The Opening Race gets underway at 14:35 local time on Sunday and the Main Race at 15:50.
